Project Information
Hine Solicitors is a long-established UK law firm offering a full range of legal services across multiple branches, including conveyancing, criminal defence, family law, employment advice and personal injury. With more than a dozen offices and a strong local presence, their main objective was to improve organic visibility across each service area and strengthen rankings for location based searches in highly competitive towns across the UK. The account has been active for two years and continues to perform exceptionally well.

When we started working on this project, the site had solid foundations, but a large amount of technical and on page work was needed to improve overall quality and help Google understand the structure of the website. Our first step was a full keyword research project, mapping each core service to targeted location based search terms in the areas where Hine operates. This ensured that priority pages focused on highly relevant, high intent phrases such as “Conveyancing Aylesbury”, “Conveyancing Beaconsfield”, “Solicitors in Borehamwood” and “Solicitors in Swindon”, which now rank between positions two and three.
From there, we carried out comprehensive on page optimisation across the entire website. This included rewriting and expanding page content to improve relevance, restructuring headings, fixing internal linking and removing outdated or duplicate copy. We also reviewed and updated all meta titles and descriptions, ensuring every service and location page was targeting the correct keyword set.
A key part of our work was resolving technical issues that were holding the site back. We identified and fixed 295 broken links, corrected indexing errors, added canonical tags, improved URL structures and introduced a favicon for stronger branding. We also optimised images across the site, compressing files, renaming images for keyword relevance and updating missing alt text. These improvements strengthened overall site health and significantly improved page speed.
To support long term growth, we implemented an ongoing link building strategy. Each month we secured high quality backlinks from reputable UK sites to help build the site’s Domain Authority and Domain Rating. Over the course of the campaign, DA increased from 30 to 35 and DR increased from 05 to 21, reinforcing the site’s ability to compete in the legal sector.
We also added important structural elements such as thank you pages, quick links, local office information and improved map embeds for regional pages. Schema markup was added to help Google better understand key content types across the site, including services, offices and FAQs.
With consistent technical improvements, ongoing keyword mapping across services and locations, and sustained content optimisation, Hine Solicitors is now performing extremely well across the UK. Today, more than 80 keywords rank on the first page, organic search clicks have increased by more than three and a half times, search impressions have grown fourfold, and the average ranking position has improved from 60 to 16.This ongoing SEO work continues to support their growth and visibility across every branch and service area.
